You need the LV sunglasses

sunglassesSo Rick Ross was on the cover in May 2009 XXL Magazine sporting some hot Louis Vuitton sunglasses. Well, little did anyone know that as people in LV, that pair of glasses had been forged. According to Michael D. Pantalony from Louis Vuitton, the slides were false and Ross did not get permission to use them for the cover of the magazine. Pantalony wrote a letter to the editor of XXL explains the situation:

Dear Editor:

We were dismayed to see the cover in May 2009 issue of XXL magazine, which has a photo of Rick Ross wearing a pair of sunglasses featuring clear fake Louis Vuitton brand. Since the image has created great confusion among readers and customers, Louis Vuitton, among other things, we believe it is important to clarify some points.

The first is that Mr. Ross wearing sunglasses were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact is falsified. Louis Vuitton does not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to the person who made the sunglasses to use our brands. The second is that no connection, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross and XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to rectify the confusion.

Greetings

Michael D. Pantalony, Esq.

Now Rick Ross’ camp says they were adapted to a jeweler in Miami, and is probably why the people from Louis Vuitton does not recognize the pair of sunglasses.
